So, I'm not usually a big Valentine's Day person. My husband and I have never celebrated it, we're just not into all that mushy stuff. ;) However, this idea popped into my head the other day, and I just had to sculpt it! XD I'm actually really please with how it came out, though I'm pretty sure I never want to paint the color pink again! o_o

Initially I was just going to have the puppies as individual pieces without a base. I saw this heart shaped wodden base at the craft store the other day, though, and I thought it would be perfect for them. :)

The puppies are from a mixture of Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm polymer clay, painted with acrylics and glazed for protection. The wooden base was also painted and glazed. Each pup stands about 1.5 inches tall. Including the base, the entire sculpture is approximately 2.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide.
