Itchy Dog Sculpture

I wanted to practice doing different and unusual poses, and so this little guy was born.

Here in Florida we see a ton of itchy dogs at the vet clinic I work for. Between all the airborne allergens and endless amounts of fleas, itching and skin issues are practically a way of life for so many pets here.

Made from a mixture of Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm polymer clay over a foil armature. Painted with acrylics and glazed for protection.
