Growlithe and Arcanine Sculptures

Wooo, my first finished pieces of the new year, and they just happen to be of my all-time favorite Pokemon!

These two doggies were a commission for . I was so excited for the opportunity to work on these guys, and I really am so pleased with how they came out. That Arcanine gave me quite some trouble with all her fluff, but I managed to get it to look alright, I think. It was so incredibly hard for me to have to send these two away, though. ;_; Especially that Growlithe, I wanted to keep her so badly! I hope they have a safe trip to their new owner.

Arcanine is definitely my biggest Pokemon sculpture(or any sculpture for that matter), measuring in at 5.25” tall and 6” long. Growlithe measures 3.25” tall and 4.5” long. They are both sculpted from Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylic paint and sealed with a matte finish.
