Big fluffy fire doggie!!

Man, was that fur tough to get right! There are still a few parts that I am not entirely happy with, but for the most part I am pretty pleased with how she came out. ^^

Arcanine is definitely my biggest Pokemon sculpture(or any sculpture for that matter), measuring in at 5.25” tall and 6” long. She is sculpted from Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylic paint and sealed with a matte finish.

sorry, but what is this "matte finish" ? you sprayed with something after painting it with acrylic paint? or what? tell me if you don't mind.

Hi! Yes, I always seal my sculptures after painting with either a matte of a gloss finish to protect the paint from chipping. The product I use for the matte finish is a spray called Testor's Dullcote. I spray it all over the sculpture once the paint has dried completely.
